All about me.
Hi, I’m Casey, the maker, creator, and chief chaos coordinator behind Kobe’s Beautique!
I’m a self-confessed craft-aholic, proud mum, creative soul, collector of unfinished projects, singer, dancer, lover and firm believer that glitter can solve at least 87% of life’s problems. My favourite colours are pink and red, my wardrobe is mostly black and white stripes or gingham, and if there’s chocolate nearby, there’s a very good chance I’ve already found it. Pair that with an icy cold cola and I’m a happy girl.
On Friday nights you’ll usually find me creating, experimenting, or surrounded by supplies while watching a movie I’ve seen at least a hundred times before. Weekends are for family adventures, making memories, and probably collecting inspiration for my next project.
Kobe’s Beautique began in June 2014 in Narromine, NSW, as a creative outlet while I was navigating life as a new mum. What started as a little side hobby quickly grew into something much bigger, a business built on creativity, community, and a whole lot of late nights bringing handmade ideas to life.
Before stepping fully into the handmade world, I spent over 20 years working in our local supermarket before finally taking the leap and turning my passion into my career. It was one of the biggest and best decisions I’ve ever made.
My journey wouldn’t have been possible without my mum, Sue, who shared her love of handmade creations, creativity, and craftsmanship with me. Her encouragement, wisdom, and belief in me helped shape not only my business but also the maker I am today. Although she’s no longer here, her influence can still be found in every piece I create.
More than ten years later, Kobe’s Beautique continues to grow and evolve with new ideas, new products, and plenty of exciting plans still to come. Whether it’s a keepsake memory blanket, a handmade accessory, or something completely new, every item is made with care, love, and a little bit of Casey chaos thrown in for good measure.
